Utilising the Outdoors

Outdoor Activities are a fixture in most our team building programmes, we endeavour to utilise an experiential environment for the following reasons:

  • To enable individuals and teams to demonstrate their common behaviours in a shared experience that can be used as examples in relation to theories.
  • To practice the learned theory in a real environment.
  • They create a memorable experience to anchor the theory to.
  • To create linkage between the classroom and the real world to enable learning transfer to more readily occur.



Challenge by Choice

For all of our activities we operate under the above premise. We never force anyone to undertake an outdoor activity that they are uncomfortable with, but will give as much support as possible to anyone who wants to try. Even if an individual does not want to take on the full challenge there is always other ways to be involved and take great learning from the experience.


During course design, we will discuss the activity options and decide on the very best for the programme based on the theory to be covered and the culture, experience and ability of those attending.
